LAREXPO is a vibrant multicultural event dedicated to celebrating and promoting the rich heritage of Latin America. Through Art, Gastronomy, Traditional Crafts, Folkloric Dances, and Live Music, this EXPO showcases the cultural diversity and creativity of each participating country. It is a platform that not only highlights the talent and traditions of Latin American Artisans and Entrepreneurs but also fosters connections and understanding among cultures, offering an unforgettable experience of unity and cultural pride.

LAREXPO es un vibrante evento multicultural dedicado a celebrar y promover la rica herencia de América Latina. A través del Arte, la Gastronomía, las Artesanías Tradicionales, los Bailes Folklóricos y la Música en vivo, esta exposición destaca la diversidad cultural y la creatividad de cada país participante. Es una plataforma que no solo resalta el talento y las tradiciones de los Artesanos y Emprendedores Latinoamericanos, sino que también fomenta conexiones y entendimiento entre culturas, ofreciendo una experiencia inolvidable de unidad y orgullo cultural.
Join us as we celebrate our traditions through folk dances and live music. Artists from Mexico, Central and South America will perform flaunting their indigenous costumes.
LAREXPO's mission is to empower a vibrant community of Latin American artisans and entrepreneurs by creating a space where they can showcase their work when engaging the public, inspiring appreciation of their cultural heritage. Our artisans have pledged to maintain high quality standards in their work while conserving the sustainability of the economy, the society and the environment.
LAREXPO is the main artisan fair in the City of Manassas. Artisans are selected for their enthusiasm to promote the conservation of their countries´ traditional crafts while preserving high levels of workmanship. Entrepreneurs attend this Event to link with the community, providing helpful information, advice and support as a benefit to our Visitors.

Our group is comprised of individuals who are proud of their culture and heritage. We aim to promote our folklore by showcasing the diverse and emblematic dances of our regions. Our goal is to ensure that our children grow up with an appreciation of their heritage and the ability to participate in these traditions.
Tinkus Bolivia USA

Tinkus Bolivia USA is a non-profit dance company that was founded on October 18th, 2016, by Gaston Blanco and his family. Currently, they have 75 dancers from all over Latin America, Central America, and the States. This fraternity was founded to spread Bolivian folklore through the Tinkus, Salaque, and Tobas dance. Tinku is a ritual and folk dance from Bolivia that is performed in the north of the department of Potosí. The meaning of the word, originally from the Quechua language, is “encounter”.

Cultural Ambassador of Peruvian Folklore
Andrés Arévalo is a renowned artist and folklore master, a graduate of the National School of Folklore José María Arguedas. Based in the United States for the past eight years, he has distinguished himself as a performer, creator, and educator. Recognized by USCIS with the prestigious O-1 visa for individuals with extraordinary talent, his career positions him as a key figure in the promotion, preservation, and professionalization of Peruvian folklore abroad.
His artistic versatility is reflected in his ability to integrate diverse disciplines such as the cajón, cajita, zapateo, and traditional dance into multidisciplinary performances. He has developed an innovative, multidimensional methodology for teaching Peruvian folklore, offering a fresh and impactful approach to the transmission of traditional arts.
Andrés has received significant accolades, including recognition from Harvard University for his outstanding Peruvian folklore master class, delivered during a residency program with students from the University of the Pacific. His experience includes directing ensembles of up to 100 musicians for major international events such as the Dakar, Mistura, and the World Leaders Summit (2012), where he collaborated with the National Symphony Orchestra and artist Lucho Quequezana.
Throughout his career, he has collaborated with prestigious groups and artists such as Perú Negro, the National Folklore Ensemble, Julie Freundt, Fabiola de la Cuba, Tony Succar, and spent over a decade working alongside Cecilia Barraza in the iconic TV program Medio Día Criollo.
His unwavering commitment to Peruvian culture and his multifaceted talent have established him as a true Cultural Ambassador of Peruvian Folklore, and an inspiring leader in promoting the richness of Peruvian identity and artistic heritage on the international stage.
KLEMENTYN REQUENA
CULTURAL AMBASSADOR OF LAREXPO 2025
Klementyn Requena is a renowned community leader, Social Communicator (graduated from the University of Piura and officially validated in the United States), Specialist in Marketing, Internal Corporate Communication, and Microenterprise Management. Her career is marked by a deep commitment to women’s empowerment, social transformation, and the preservation of Latin American culture.
As the founder and director of Latinas con Voz TV, a Spanish-language digital platform with reach across the Americas and the United States, she has built a powerful channel that amplifies women's voices, promotes their rights, and fosters their leadership. In recognition of her impactful work, the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce honored her company in 2021 as one of the most valuable in its sector. In 2022, backed by the GWHCC, she launched the successful program “Latinas en Acción,” which continues to grow and benefit entrepreneurs across the United States and Puerto Rico.
From the heart of the DMV (DC-Maryland-Virginia), Klementyn continues her mission of service as a Purple Angel and Ambassador of Mil Mujeres, Health Pro Coach at Identity, and provider of free emotional support sessions in Montgomery County for women and men in vulnerable situations—offering empathy, guidance, and strength.
She is also one of the founding voices of the Orange March, in partnership with organizations forming the Latinas Unidas Against Violence DMV Alliance, and currently serves as DMV Director of RIMLA and Director of Marketing and Public Relations for Latinx Warriors.
As a speaker, her powerful message of empowerment, leadership, and gender equality inspires many and reaffirms her unwavering dedication to social justice and pride in our cultural roots. Her voice not only uplifts women—it honors the traditions, languages, and ancestral knowledge that shape our Latin identity.
Today, as the Cultural Ambassador of LAREXPO 2025, Klementyn Requena proudly represents our community, carrying forth the richness of Hispanic heritage and the transformative power of culture as a tool for development, connection, and pride
