Joe Falero Band
Joe Falero is known for his showmanship, great technique and spectacular solos. He is an excellent bandleader who strives to get the best out of his fellow musicians, which is manifested through his desire to always do something original in every show! He is the DJ, Host and Producer of his show “Soy Boricua” which airs every Saturday from 11am to 2pm live on WSER dB aka Salsa Empire Radio.
Joe Falero was born in La Parada 23 abajo, Santurce, Puerto Rico. At 9 years old, Joe asked for a Conga drum as a Christmas gift. At 12 years old, Joe was already playing Rumbas, Bomba and Plena with his friends in the neighborhood. At 15 years old, Joe was already playing with local bands. He was often asked to be the DJ at family and friends events due to his extensive knowledge of Latin music.
For the last 40 years Joe Falero has worked as a professional musician and DJ in many locals and international events. Joe Falero is an award winning Bandleader and DJ and has shared the stage with many Latin music superstars like: El Gran Combo de PR, Celia Cruz, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Grupo Niche, Joe Arroyo, Tito Puente Jr. and many more.
Ocho de Bastos
Ocho de Bastos (translation: Eight of Clubs) is one of the most popular and sought-after Latin Pop Rock bands in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area. Founded by a group of enthusiastic young musicians, Ocho de Bastos’ sound is an energetic fusion of tropical rhythms with Latin rock. A unique guitar sound, blended with powerful drums, Latin percussion, and catchy brass riffs complement Ocho de Bastos’ unique style. Ocho de Bastos was described by National Public Radio’s Felix Contreras as “…A DAMN GOOD BAND.”
Ocho de Bastos decided to fuse strong percussion and Caribbean rhythms with more traditional Latin rock sounds resulting in nine songs that identify Ocho de Bastos style as what band members call “a fusion of tropical rhythms like merengue, salsa, reggae, and reggaeton with a powerful electric guitar”.
The band has successfully performed in major festivals (more than 80,000 in attendance) and other performances (e.g., at the Washington Nationals Stadium) that support diversity and various charities. Broad audiences (including people from different ethnicities, backgrounds, and ages) enjoy and dance to the contagious rhythms of Ocho de Bastos. Our repertoire includes Top 40, Pop, Rock & Roll, Alternative, Latin Pop, Caribbean Fusion, Reggae, Ska, and International genres. Our show is modified for every audience and venue, with acoustic or full percussion sets.
After years of performing in front of international crowds, Ocho de Bastos expresses new musical influences in their albums which include exotic rhythms from Spain, Africa, South America and the Caribbean. A well-balanced blend of exotic and modern bounces make Ocho de Bastos original music a truly enjoyable and fun musical production.
Ocho de Bastos is available for private, corporate, charitable, and public events. The band loves community festivals, as well as events hosted for good causes. It is our goal to bring people together with music and to create memorable experiences with our show. We embrace an atmosphere of respect, good vibes, and inclusion for all.

Zip Code Rock Band is A Fusion of Genres and Contagious Energy!
In 2022, Zip Code Rock Band was created to perform classic songs from popular bands such as Hombres G, Mana, Caramelos de Cianuro, Soda Stereo, Héroes del Silencio, and more.
The band is composed of Andrés Jaramillo (vocals), Jorge Flores (guitar), Laura De La Cruz (bass), and José La Cruz (drums).
Zip Code's mission is to inspire young people with their music and bring joy to adults by evoking cherished memories. They have already shared stages with some of the most prominent artists in theaters and concerts.

Rochi Bracale
Rochi was born and raised in Lima-Peru. She has been an athlete since 8 years old in national track, tennis and swimming. Her journey in fitness started mid 90’s during her college years. While continuing competitive in several sports, as group instructor and entrepreneur she also became national aerobic champion and world competitor in fitness. Since 2010 Zumba has been her passion and she has been dedicated to perform and organize free community events and also many Zumba fundraising events for local non profit organizations like Special Olympics, Autism awareness, St Jude’s children’s hospital and more. Rochi brings her experience, passion, happiness, friendly energy and love to every Zumba class always with an intention. Feeling and sharing the love and energy in the present, connecting with every participant, admiring their faces and smiles had created an amazing strong RochiB community that follows and believes in her purpose and calling in life: loving, living life and giving LOVE, LIVE, GIVE #lovelivegive

Latin Angela
Angela Gonzales, known as Latin Angela from Peru, shares her passion for dance rooted in Afro-Peruvian culture. She is a Body Movement therapist using Afro Latin Dance movement techniques such as Zamacueca, Festejo de Peru, and Bomba de Loiza Puerto Rico using colorful scarves & skirts.
She highlights the significance of the Cajon drum for her ancestors' resilience and liberation. Through performances in the Diaspora, she aims to ignite energy and transform spectators into dancers, promoting healing and connection. Latin Angela leads Afro-Peruvian dance sessions, emphasizing joy, strength, and mental well-being. She creates inclusive spaces for all to embrace the rhythms and celebrate cultural heritage through movement and unity.
