Today, LG Bands is formed by a committed and growing team of performers including Roberto Neciosup, Mayerlin Arratea, Gonzalo Vásquez, Mauricio Palacios, Dany Cruz, Neil León, and Ricardo Pérez, along with new members in training who represent the next generation of the group. Each artist contributes a unique essence, blending experience, technique, and a deep passion for live music. The name LG Bands stands for “The Great Bands,” a concept that reflects their commitment to musical excellence and high-quality show production.

Since arriving in the United States in 2016, Peruvian musician Jorge “Paco” Soto León has continued to share his talent and passion for cumbia. As the founder and director of La 5ta Banda de Paco Soto, he has built a band that, in just four years, has captured stages, hearts, and communities with its unmistakable style and vibrant energy.
Originally from Comas, Lima, and with a musical journey that began at a young age, Paco Soto created this band with the clear mission of keeping the joy of tropical music alive within the Latino diaspora. La 5ta Banda de Paco Soto is more than just a musical group — it is a tribute to rhythm, identity, and the festive spirit of our culture.
During LAREXPO, the group proudly celebrates its fourth anniversary, proving that dreams do come true when fueled by dedication, consistency, and love for our roots.
